I was recently introduced to the work of Faux Museum thanks to Structured Chaos's Shop Swap & Blog. Faux Museum's pop-up art frames are a fabulous low-cost alternative to their museum-type counterparts.
They're made of thick paper board so they're extremely light weight. Each come in their own little plastic sleeves and all wrapped up in black tissue paper. When you open them up, you find everything you need to assemble them inside: frame, black tape and a little stand to set it on for table display. They were ridiculously simple to assemble. Fold, hold and tape. Really, that's it. And when you don't need them anymore they're 100% recyclable.
You can use them in all sorts of ways: table photo displays at a wedding or anniversary, to display postcards you love, or a photo. I have a couple of ideas for mine:
1. In my son's room with a little light over top and a tiny plaque underneath to display his latest artwork.
2. As a display for our Thanksgiving menu. It'll make the food taste fancier, don't you think?
Another thing to love: our friends at Faux Museum are offering free shipping on all online orders through the end of November. Enjoy!

Wow! I've never seen anything like it! I will buy some for my baby's room. I like that they are light-weight. Oooo..they would be perfect to send as gifts for the holidays via mail since they are sold flat.
