I'm completely in love with these quilted blankets by Emily Fischer of Haptic Lab. They're patterned after maps! Isn't that clever? And you can choose from a variety of maps to have quilted or do it completely custom. I discovered them over at SeeSaw Designs' blog. Check out the detailed stitching.
You can label certain streets.
Or leave them blank for a more graphic look. I've been looking for a quilt/blanket for the foot of my little boys' bed and I think I've just found it. It's a perfect match to his DwellStudio Vehicle sheets and Twill Out comforter and sham by Land of Nod.
Oh, and by the way: if you like the look of this bedding ensemble, the Twill Out bedding is on sale now for over 60% off. Please, somebody take advantage of this great deal so I feel a little bit better about paying full price myself.

Too cute! What a great idea---I only with I could quilt. I love when they have modern designs such as these and I love maps---the perfect combo.
