What do you think of these vintage button cards by Papier Valise? I think they're adorably clever.
Each is an impeccably preserved original sheet of buttons. The colors are so vibrant! I could see these being used easily for a creative Father's Day card.

I love these! They're so small and well preserved. I wonder, though, how sturdy are they? My dad's kind of rough on things.
