It's been a little while since we've had a giveaway, my dears, but you're waiting is through! (Hurray!) Remember the one I hinted at on Monday? Well, here it is. A brand new Lily Jane product that isn't even available in the shop yet; you're the very first to see it. A lovely set of personalized calling cards!
Have you ever been in a situation where you need to give someone your phone number or email but neither one of you can find a pen? Or you just don't have the time to punch the number into your phone? Calling cards are a perfect (and very stylish) way to share that information. With a handful of these in your purse you won't ever have to worry about those unfortunate moments again.
I have three designs for this fall, all done in some of my favorite shades from the season (that will also be beautiful all year long). To win a set of 30 personalized calling cards in your favorite design do any of the following by Tuesday August 31st at midnight:
- Share your favorite tip in the comments for keeping organized and in control of your day to day life. File bins you love to use, a shortcut cooking tip, how you prioritize your day...anything that makes you feel efficient! (Don't forget your name and email so I can contact you if you win! I promise not to share it or abuse it. Cross my heart.)
- Subscribe to Lily Jane - and be sure to leave a comment to tell me you did.
- Share the news: tweet it, blog it, or put it on Facebook. Leave a link here when you're done.
Do you have a friend you know would love this? Be sure to let them know so they can enter! This would also make a good holiday gift for a little later this year... Best of luck!
****ANNOUNCEMENT: The Winner is Christie! Congratulations! I'll be emailing you shortly with details. (Winners are chosen at random, using the number generator at random.org)

I would LOVE to have these cards. I just had to write my phone number on a post-it for a parent that just started piano lessons for their daughter. How professional. My current favorite efficiency tip... Use hanging files and manilla folders! I just reorganized my lesson plans from criss-crossed stacks of numbered paper to nice, neat hanging folders labeled by chapter with manilla folders labeled tests and lecture inside. I love it! It's not super pretty, but it is out of site, and is so organized I feel like I'm saving at least a minute out of my day by not having to thumb through the papers! Plus you can rearrange them in the blink of an eye!

I keep a small notebook in my purse so keep notes and lists on. Its much easier then a million scraps of paper everywhere. It also has a pocket in it that I use for coupons etc. Best $2 I ever spent.

Cool cards!
My organization tip comes from my husband who is so better at this than I but here goes. Keep like things with like things (this is harder than it sounds but really makes a difference for me).
On a more specific note, I use binders with clear pocket pouches inside to keep all the important keepsakes for the year. One binder a year that I can hopefully consolidate by the end of the year.

@Stephanie: That is something I've been meaning to do myself for ages. Glad to hear it's working for you!
@Ann: What a great idea for temporarily storing keepsakes! I may just have to institute that one myself. Thanks for sharing!

I was going to comment on your planner post but I never did. I love my buttoned up planner which is actually sold out for the year, but they'll have 2011 soon. It fits in my purse but has just the right info for me. I love it.

What beautiful cards!
My only form of organization is post-it notes... which I have everywhere!
