Hello, my dears. How was your weekend? Ours was spent sanding chairs and digging out an enormous tree stump that had been buried up years ago in the back yard. I really love productive weekends like this one was. It's so nice that the weather is just starting to warm up enough to be able to get outside and be doing things again.
I've also started in on a new book. Are you a big reader? I always have something on my nightstand to read before bed, even if no other time presents itself during the day. Right now, I'm delving into A Homemade Life by Molly Wizenburg. I'm a big fan of Molly's, from her blog to her articles in Bon Appetit and of course her podcast, Spilled Milk. She has such a lovely, conversational style to her writing and I can't wait to get started. Have you already read the book? Would you like to read along with me? I'd love to hear what your thoughts are about it or what books you've been reading lately, too.

I would love to read along with you... I might give a try... I am not in school but I have teenager and two year old so I cant keep a promise but I am going to try... love your blog

I read "A Homemade Life" back in November and really enjoyed it. So many of my fondest memories revolve around eating and cooking with my family and friends.
I am currently reading "Sarah's Key."
