Today's Friday Favorite is a little bit different than any I've done in the past. It's an opportunity for all of us to help the children in Ishinomaki, Japan, a city that was hit hard by the earthquake.
My friend, Nicole, has organized an effort to send boxes to the children of this devastated city. Boxes full of things that you and I already have in our own homes. Brady and I spent the morning collecting things around our home to send to Japan. He even gave half of the contents of his candy jar and a stuffed animal of his own accord! We came up with a surprising amount of things to send, and now all we have to pay for is the postage.
Will you help the children of Ishinomaki? Look around your house and see if you have any of these items. Even if it's just a few. She already has 137 boxes - let's help make it to 200!
