Hello, my dears! How are you doing? Yesterday was my sweet Lily's birthday and I spent the morning scouring the internet for the perfect cake recipe. We've made a tradition of having a cake and singing Happy Birthday to her at the cemetery. But yesterday the cake recipe I had picked out just didn't seem like the right one anymore, and after spending the morning scouring the internet for the perfect recipe I determined to piece together my own, which actually turned out quite nicely.
But all my searching did pay off in finding a lovely new-to-me food blog. Seven Spoons has the most beautiful photography and recipes that look divine.
I have to try making this strawberry icebox cake someday. Have you ever had an icebox cake (cookies/crackers layered with cream until it makes a tower)? I'm so intrigued by it.
